Spring Wildflower Walk

$10.00

Join the Long Grove Park District and Sarah Schultz for a Spring Wildflower Walk through the trails of Reed-Turner Woodland. This 1.5-2 hour exploration will take you up and down the paths identifying the budding and blossomed flowers and trees that blanket our beautiful preserve. Sarah is a habitat restoration volunteer with Lake County Forest Preserves for over 20 years and currently the steward at Heron Creek Forest Preserve and Reed-Turner Woodland.  We thank Sarah for volunteering her time to help share her knowledge and love of nature with us.

What's in bloom changes dramatically from April to May so we are offering 2 sessions:

  • Saturday, April 11th at 1PM – Early Bloomers

  • Sunday, May 3rd at 1PM – Late Bloomers

Your $10 registration fee will be used directly for stewardship efforts at the woodland - thank you!

Spots are limited and advanced registration is required.
